Just saying. I am pro-Palestine but I am not anti-Semitic at all. Not all who support Palestine want to “gas the Jews.”

Did I say that? No. Sorry if that was the impression given, but that is not what I said.

Wait, what the fuck?

So basically what’s happening is that as a result of the war in Israel and Gaza right now, many worldwide pro-palestine demonstrations or pro-hamas demonstrations (which are apparently also a thing) have very quickly been turning into anti-israel and then immediately anti-jew riots if they werent that already. In France Jews were trapped in a synagogue by rioters outside and had to be escorted from the synagogue to safety by police as rioters attacked and kicked at the cars in droves as they were trying to drive away. Rioters also then went into the Jewish quarter and smashed in windows of Jewish-owned shops and i think set fire to some of them too. And I don’t remember where it happened, but a Jewish man and his wife were almost beaten to death by a mob as he was walking down a street wearing a kippah. Luckily someone intervened, or else they may not have survived. A refugee camp for Jews has been opened in the Ukraine. Demonstrations right and left are getting out of control and people are indeed actually shouting things like “Gas the Jews!”, “Hitler was right!”, and “Jews back to Birkenau!”. It’s not just in Europe either is the thing, it’s been happening in places like Boston and Miami now too. Basically what it looks like to me is that it’s shaping up to be more pogroms, another Kristallnacht, and just death for Jews WWII-style round two. So without getting into any of the back and forth about the war itself, what I was referring to was the very real side effects that are going on that make me as a young Jewish woman very concerned for my safety even in Portland.

I went to Comic-Con. And it was a big deal, you see, top secret, they came and picked me up at my house, I got a call from my agent the night before saying, “Listen. Look at your window at 5 o’clock in the morning. If there’s a car there, you got the part. If there’s not, just go back to bed.” It was last minute. And the car was there.
